CNC Head Porting
FHO heads are machined on our RMC V-50HP 5 axis head porting system. We have digitized our best flowing ports, and offer heads with consistency not possible with hand porting. Our heads feature fully machined combustion chambers and ports, and are offered in multiple head designs.
These max port designs come with enlarged pushrod sleeves installed for added clearance. Optional intake flange machining for Viton O-rings, deleting the troublesome intake gaskets. Includes full radius valve job and assembly to specs.
Porting Head Designs
STAGE V Replacement Head
Machined for 2.25/2.30” intake and 1.90/1.94” exhausts valves. Specs as follows with 2.30/1.90” valve combo:
- Flow numbers 471cfm-Intake/305cfm exhaust with no tube
- Intake and exhaust volumes-241cc Intake/118cc Exhaust
- Combustion chamber volume-170cc
STAGE V M2000 Race Head
Raised intake and exhaust ports w reduced combustion chamber volume. Features 2.40/2.45” intake and 1.90/1.95” exhaust valve options, depending on application. Requires custom sheet metal or FHO Billet intake manifold. Intake flange is O-ringed for Viton seals. No intake gaskets required.
Note: can be machined in Top Fuel 6 bolt vertical pattern for blown applications.

STAGE V FHO Custom Head
Major upgrade. Features same ports as above, but machined in HD race head casting with bronze alloy seats. Intake flange has added thickness which we machine for Viton O-rings. Intake gaskets are no longer required.
This is the head used on all FHO 572 Street Hemi packages.
STAGE V Big Valve Head
With raised exhaust port. Machined for 2.40” intake and 1.90/1.95” exhaust valves. Specs as follows:
- Flow numbers-523cfm Intake/322cfm Exhaust
- Intake and exhaust volumes-Application dependent
- Combustion chamber volume-170cc
FHO Custom Race Head
Modified M2000 design with revised valve angles, 2.55” intake/1.95” exhaust valves. FHO closed chamber design. Requires custom sheet metal or FHO Billet intake manifold. Intake flange is O-ringed for Viton seals. No intake gasket is required.
